A sublime evening raga resonates from Sanjay Guha’s sitar at Delhi’s International Habitat Center. The audience was intimately small after a downpour of monsoon rain brought Delhi’s traffic to a crawl.
Sanjay Gupta is one of India’s leading sitar performers. He is a disciple of Ravi Shankar, the Ravi Shankar who popularized the sitar in the West after giving lessons to the Beatles’ George Harrison.
