Love follows. And love is created. The picture of the brides parents says it all. In many of our Indian cultures – our parental involvements do not end when the bride is ‘given away.’ One of the challenges that some young couples have found is how to nurture and grow their own love relationship in the context of continued parental involvements in their lives (not the worst problem to have mind you).

The story follows first generation immigrants and their children; the parents had an arranged marriage but their American-born children take the American route of finding love on one’s own, then possibly contemplating marriage. I don’t want to spoil the rest of the film, but it is a great one about identity and what it means to be close to another person and the path for getting there.
